New Year resolutions

Was told I haven't been blogging much about myself lately and unlike previous years, I seem to have not made any New Year resolutions. What's different from previous year is that my resolutions will be closely tied with someone else. Looking back
2011 2009
Seems like I forgotten to write one in 2010. Now what happened in 2010? I guess this year, I resolute to talk less and think more as all married men should be. And also make more resolutions which is for couplehood and family. To get my new place up and running and also to ensure my whisky collection grows! That's all with keeping it simple and of course, not forgetting to love my wife and always keep a bag of tricks up my sleeves to surprise her and always there to make her laugh. That is what all married men should do as well. ;)

Happy Thanksgiving

With great friends enjoying a great time on NBA Live 10 on a 50in flatscreen with massive speakers @ a nice pad.

I am thankful for great friends, for a great family, a great boss and company to work for. And finally, always thankful that my photos are appreciated in someway or another.

I didn't know they notify you for stuff like that...

Time to book holidays for 2009!

Like all Singaporeans, I always look forward to a long break from work. I try to squeeze a short flight out to Bangkok or China for shopping; or slack out in front of the TV watching my long list of unwatched DVDs, or play the Wii or PS3. Well, I declare 2009 a year of slacking as there will be a bumper crop of long weekends next year.

Here is the list of public holidays in 2009:

New Year's Day -1 January (Thu)
Chinese New Year-26, 27 January (Mon, Tue)
Good Friday -10 April (Fri)
Labour Day -1 May (Fri)
Vesak Day -9 May (Sat)
National Day -9 August (Sun)
Hari Raya Puasa -20 September (Sun)
Deepavali -15 November (Sun)
Hari Raya Haji -27 November (Fri)
Christmas Day -25 December (Fri)

Looking at the dates, by just taking 1 day leave next year, you can get 29 days break. And those who gets off-in-lieu for Sat holidays, you can get 32 days of rest. Or without even taking any leave, you can effectively have at least 8 long weekends!

Okay time to seriously plan my slacker year of 2009. Buddies..any plans??
