Alonso!

So Alonso finally redeemed himself from the controversial win when he was in Renault back in Singapore F1 2008. Taking the 2010 title from start to finish with a tough challenge from Vettel. Prancing Horse!

Remarkable fight for Massa as well from 24th to 10th place. If only Schumacher could have come in top 10...the GP would have been perfect! IMHO,this has to be one of the most exciting GP race I have watched.

Singapore F1 Grand Prix 2010

I secretly really hope Schumy can win...though my heart lies with the prancing horse.

Michael Schumacher's first time in Singapore - Qualifying lap - 9th place.
Alonso takes the fastest lap timing and pole position.

2nd F1 Night Race

Had a quieter night and caught the race from the telly and tearing engine sounds though we were high up...and that concludes the 2nd Singapore F1 Night Race, back to normal traffic soon at the Marina area. Good job Hamilton..until next Sep 2010!
Leave you with a view from the 64th floor of Sail@Marina.

F1 Rocks

This year being the 2nd year of the Singapore F1 night race, I thought I would give it a miss since I wasn't following much of the race as my fav team Ferrari wasn't doing so well. But my buddy Jase has always been the "THE MAN" and scored us Grandstand Pitstop tickets. But since it was qualifying night and there wasn't much action, we decided to venture out to somewhere new this year...

This was just the beginning of a great night though with slight hiccups but Jase always have more up his sleeves with LG F1 ROCKS Concert tickets@ Fort Canning park.. just look at the following pictures and 2 sentences.
Black Eye Peas RAWKS!
And Beyonce is HAWT!

Got my F1 tickets!

Just got hold of my F1 tickets; had to collect them from the nearest Singpost office. It has been a long wait since ordering it through the phone as it embarrassingly crashed its online system when it was first launch on 28 Feb 2008. After a four months wait and having almost all my 7 pre-ordered tickets confirmed by the guys...It came in a box, and it carries up to 8 F1 boxes which contains passes for each day. So if you ordered 1 or 8 tickets, it will arrive in the same box and opening it up comes a nice surprise. Here are some pictures for those who have not gotten into the F1 race fever. My order of 7 tickets came in 7 black boxes with 3 passes per day included with different colored neck strap for each day. Now that's cool considering I got the cheapest kinds of walk about and they look the same as the person in front of my queue with the grandstand tickets.

As of now, Ferrari is holding strong for another back-to-back constructor's title with 91 points and the distance second place BMW Sauber with 74 points.

So come Sep 28 2008, you will see me wearing red and carrying my trusty Canon Kiss X2, walking around the track trying my best to get some nice shots, in hope of crashes since being the inaugural night race and a city race.

Go Ferrari! (so far 5/8 wins) Go Massa! (3/8 wins) Go Kimi! (2/8 wins)
Just 10 more races to go!

The Singapore 2008 FORMULA 1™

Ok no prizes for guessing who will be sponsoring the race - the inaugural 2008 FORMULA 1™ SingTel Singapore Grand Prix is slated to debut on 28 September.
As Singapore is famous for coming in firsts..we are scoring a few for this upcoming race.
A proposed 5.067km long street circuit running through Marina Bay will be the first street race in Asia and subjected to final safety clearances, the race will be the first held at night in F1 history.

Before the freaking prices are listed, here's a few points to consider.

The roads will need to be probably resurfaced prior to the race, and a new 1.2km road that forms eastern section of the circuit will also be constructed alongside the pit building. Work on the pit building is scheduled to be completed by end May 2008. So get ready for lots of jam along the area and if you planning to have your weddings/company functions there during the period- DON'T!
Also expect more tourists in Sep, more road diversions, more road works...etc etc..
Come on, let's cooperate to help put our tiny island on the global map and let the world know we are not somewhere in China or Malaysia.

Ok, now if you have some spare cash to spend, the prices are as such...

Pit Grandstand - S$1,388
Turns 1, 2 and 3 Grandstands - S$1,388
Stamford Grandstand - S$998
Raffles Grandstand - S$698
Marina Grandstand - S$698
Esplanade Waterfront Grandstand - S$498
Bay Grandstand (Lower) - S$298
Bay Grandstand (Upper) - S$248
Walkabout - S$168

Now should I or should I not..

Yes I should..and I did...got myself and some friends some walkabout tics...it's night and no way I am going to be able to afford those tickets, unless I stop driving for 3months..and save on petrol!
