Hmm forgot I took a snapshot of this little article on USA Today highlighting the status of engineers.Apparently in the US, I'm now perceived to have a prestigious job. So YW, no wonder we need to work for US companies. YJ and Kel are not as welcome there as Architects and Bankers as in Singapore. :P

I have a prestigious job
Hmm forgot I took a snapshot of this little article on USA Today highlighting the status of engineers.Apparently in the US, I'm now perceived to have a prestigious job. prestige cannot eat as rice. at least architect can build own farm and still eat rice. engin-ger eat silicon? derivative traders are scum.
How come consulting not in the list? I cannot believe we rank below the bankers. At least we create value:)
erica, you gotta be kidding me right? We have a friend in consultant..he smokes his way through, and consultancy creates false value, not actual value until the client buys what you guys crap out!
