Slingers go Chinese!

12th Oct Singapore Slingers vs Beijing Aoshen

This has to be the most exciting game so far. It even made my babe become a fan of the Singapore Slingers; and me almost peeing in my pants!

Thanks to Nic and Bob Turner (Owner of the Slingers) who got us bloggers up close to the game. To have a corporate box for live basketball action has to be the greatest thing you can have, especially with Brewerkz beer and wine served.

The Slingers were without head coach McLeod as he had to return down under for personal matters thus Coach Frank took over and he did seem cool and was handling the game well.

Slingers were strong in the first few minutes of the game, roaring to an early 10-2 start. But Beijing Aoshen's Huo Nan #10 did an amazing job scoring from all angles to bring the game close and managed to top scores with 21 points.
