Greatest Irony of Giving

You all watched Slumdog Millionaire. The greatest irony to giving out $ to beggars is that only when you stop giving, then the kids can start living their childhood. We are doing more harm than good by giving them petty change. So when you next visit impoverished cities or countries, remember to control your charity guilt; you might be doing more harm than good.

Little girl rented out by parents for under S$1000 forced to eat faeces and beg.

How important beer is to the world

You gotta watch all 3 parts of this.

Sad

This is really sad when your supposedly revered leader is now on Google's suggestive death wish list. I am not sure how it works but my Android gives me predictive text based on the most commonly typed search. Sometimes it's best to retire and enjoy life. Stop writing books that pisses people off,or incur other races' wrath which somehow threads thinly on an ISA offence. But then again, he is god in Sillypore; and perhaps why many are wondering when will.... ;)

Crazy little thing called love

Happy Valentine's day to all my friends. I had a special and wonderful time; be it being surprised, or busy with preparation work...I realised, it's the little things, the crazy, childish, sweet things that make you giggle like a kid again. Finding back your youth, the return to innocence, now that's the fun of being in love. So despite the commercialization of the date,it is still time to enjoy each others company ; be it in a fancy restaurant or just enjoying take-away nasi lemaks, the company is the most important.

Giving back

Saw a SPC petrol station with a manual car wash facility operated by MINDS,along Telok Blangah Road down from Alexandra towards Vivocity. A big poster says washed by bubbly folks, what a heartwarming catchphrase. Love the SPC gesture to get MINDS folks to contribute to the workforce. Will find a day to try it out!
